As an AGV Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated guided vehicle solutions. This role involves working on-site with a global leader in automation and robotics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality and system processes within assigned projects
  • Prepare AGV functionality and technical specifications
  • Develop system design and programming of AGV systems
  • Assist in AGV system testing, integration, and factory testing
  • Support installation specifications
  • Test and integrate AGV and PLC systems
  • Commission AGVs on-site
  • Manage project costs and schedules
  • Participate in operator training
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of AGV project delivery
About You
  • Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Recent graduate or 1-2 years experience
  • Knowledge of PLC configuration, programming, and commissioning
  • Basic programming skills (PLC Structured Text, SICK Devices, C or C++ highly desirable)
  • Experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis, and troubleshooting
  • Experience in electrical design using AutoCAD or similar 2D and 3D drawing packages
  • Experience with automation or materials handling highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills
