Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support services to clients in their homes and local communities.

Our organisation is committed to providing personalized support services tailored to individual needs, fostering positive health and wellbeing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support services tailored to individual clients' needs
  • Working collaboratively with clients to develop a customized support plan
  • Ensuring all service arrangements meet clients' unique needs and goals

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle (with comprehensive insurance)
  • Current Police Check
  • First Aid certificate and CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS COVID 19 Certificate

Desirable Accreditations and Qualifications:

  • Current Working with Children Check (highly desirable)
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability/Aged Care (highly desirable)

Experience:

  • Mental Health experience (1 year preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (preferred)
  • National Police Certificate (required)
  • Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (required)
