Design Homeware Specialist

We are seeking an inspired Designer to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality homewares, driven by a keen eye for design and commercial awareness.

As a Design Homeware Specialist, you will be responsible for researching global trends and interpreting them for our customers. You will also be involved in designing and curating a wide variety of homewares with a focus on textiles and wall art.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and maintain creativity under pressure. They will also be proficient in Adobe: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as Microsoft Office suite including Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Researching global trends and presenting commercial directions for the Freedom offer.
  • Designing and curating products that align with our brand, ensuring great quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback and sales data into the design process.
  • Preparing artwork for technical specification packs and production sheets.
Requirements
  • 2-5+ years' experience within a textile or graphics design-related industry.
  • Demonstrating a sound understanding of materials, construction, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
