The Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Administrator to join our internal Finance Team in a support capacity. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our finance team members and company Director, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general office administration duties, including managing incoming and outgoing mail and maintaining paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Provide daily administration support to finance team members and company Director as required.
  • Assist with data entry, record keeping, and other ad-hoc tasks.
  • Maintain and update financial spreadsheets, registers, and databases.
  • Initial set up of loan statements for completion by the finance team.
  • Be responsible for petty cash and purchasing office sundries.
  • Assist with finance team and company Director calendar management as required.
  • Entering invoices and bills into appropriate platform for processing by finance team.
  • Assisting external stakeholders with administration-based enquiries.
  • Ad-hoc administration tasks as required by the finance team and Director.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years + experience in an administrative or team support role, ideally at a law firm, professional services firm, or commercial setting.
  • High level of attention to detail, organisation, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Passion and interest in innovation and automation, with a desire to find better and easier ways of doing things.
  • Interest in long-term career progression and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Experience working with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar, or bookkeeping experience.
  • Ability to maintain and grow client relationships and work with external stakeholders in a professional manner.

Eligibility

To be considered for this position, you must reside permanently in Brisbane, Australia, and be either an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident with unlimited working rights.
