Maternity care professionals with a passion for delivering exceptional service are sought after by Southern NSW Local Health District to join their multidisciplinary team as Casual Registered Midwives.
About the RoleThis role offers an exciting opportunity to provide women-centered maternity care in collaboration with individuals and healthcare teams. As a registered midwife, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-focused care that prioritizes individualized woman-centered care and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve quality outcomes.
- Advocate for and implement best practice evidence-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with others to deliver quality midwifery care and demonstrate leadership skills.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered midwife.
- Demonstrated competencies and knowledge of caring for women and babies in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Effective clinical communication skills and ability to interact with others in a professional manner.
