Job Description

The role of a Registered Midwife is to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women and newborns in a maternity setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients, while also providing education and support to families.

The Registered Midwife will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care, from pregnancy through to post-delivery and beyond.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration as a midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in maternity care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
