About this job:

Job Description: We are seeking a senior architectural designer to join our team. As a senior architectural designer, you will be responsible for the design and documentation of architectural projects from concept to completion.

  • Assisting the Design Leader in realising client briefs
  • Undertaking the production of projects in accordance with client briefs
  • Providing technical support on drawings and documentation
  • Working closely with the design team to review and evolve project ideas and assisting in resolving complex design issues
  • Communicating ideas through sketches, 3D vignettes, and technical drawings
  • Liaising and coordinating with external consultants, including cross-checking drawings and Revit models
  • Happy to work hands-on and across DA/CD documentation stages when required
  • Responding to project correspondence as directed by the Project Leader but also capable of taking initiative where possible

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years experience (or equivalent) working in the Architecture field
  • Hold a Masters Degree in Architecture
  • Strong Revit skills (Dynamo experience advantageous)
  • Strong Rhino skills (including Grasshopper) highly regarded
  • Solid knowledge of the full Adobe suite (InDesign & Photoshop essential)
  • Enscape skills and additional rendering software programs e.g. Vray
  • Demonstrate sound skills in overarching concept design to design development
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of project delivery requirements
  • Local BCA standards and regulation knowledge essential
  • Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members
