Job Title: Executive Director, Strategic Communications

We are seeking an accomplished Executive Director to lead the development and implementation of strategic communications plans that align with our organization's goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team to deliver effective internal and external communications, engagement support, and services aligned with our strategic framework.
  • Coordinate, prioritise, resource, and ensure the team's work meets high standards.
  • Develop organisation-wide communication, information management, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Australian energy markets and the role of regulatory bodies.
  • Substantial senior leadership experience in strategic communications and engagement, preferably in government or regulatory settings.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or substantial equivalent industry experience.
Selection Criteria:
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective communications strategies.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups.
