Job Overview:

The Program Lead will oversee, guide, and motivate staff to ensure safe, high-quality support for participants, driving the Social Support team to deliver engaging and enjoyable social programs for clients over 65, across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Mentoring:

    • Oversee staff to work in programs
    • Develop and implement programs that meet clients' goals and interests
    • Participate in planning with the leadership team to manage the program, develop staff skills, meet program targets, and increase the profile of the Social Support program

Program Development and Compliance:

Develop and implement programs that meet clients' goals and interests, incorporating principles of co-design and feedback from internal and external referrers, clients, staff satisfaction, and client surveys.

Ensure that all documentation relating to client care is current and accurate.

Assist with managing the My Aged Care Portal for the Social Support program.

Leading and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality social programs for older adults, ensuring services are provided in a safe environment, responsive to community needs, and compliant with relevant legislation and best practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications:

    • Qualifications in an aged care related field

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience and ability in supporting staff to deliver engaging and high-quality social programs for older adults
  • Capacity to be creative and innovative in program planning to meet client goals and interests
