About the role
The staff member in this position works closely with their manager and senior colleagues in the clinical costing team. They will require a good understanding of clinical costing methodologies, data management systems and quality improvement processes to enhance the output of data within the health service.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure accurate and timely data is collected, managed and reported.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in maintaining clinical costing systems and linkages to associated feeder systems
  • Capability to respond to requests by interpreting, gathering and sourcing information with the ability to identify the information requirements to develop complex reports utilising SQL queries via Crystal and IntelPlus
  • Competence in interpersonal skills, consultation and effective communication with multiple stakeholders across the organisation
  • Able to possess analytical problem-solving, statistical gathering techniques and critical evaluation skills in a clinical costing environment
  • Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire skills in clinical costing systems and costing methodologies
