Job Overview

The Residential Manager position is responsible for overseeing the college's residential provision, ensuring a high-quality experience for students. This includes managing administrative systems, organizing staffing rotas, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize occupancy and income through effective resource allocation.
  • Manage administrative systems related to accommodation, including rota organization and communication with staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure an outstanding student experience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to problem-solve and drive forward innovative solutions.
  • Take on line management responsibility for team members and ensure they have the necessary tools and support to succeed.
  • Represent the college at off-site locations as required.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities, with a focus on safeguarding and student wellbeing.
  • Experience in administration, rostering, budgeting, and accommodation operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse groups.
