About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in the Bundaberg area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and mobility assistance.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when needed.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting independence and community involvement.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other conditions.

Requirements
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • You must care about assisting our aged community and have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • You should be able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
