About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to take on a senior leadership position within our organization.

As Area Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the regional business, overseeing operations across the area, and maximizing opportunities with existing and new clients.

The role requires a unique blend of strategic and operational expertise, enabling you to drive the day-to-day business while influencing and contributing to its strategic direction.

You will have full accountability for the safety, growth, and profitability of the regional business, as well as responsibilities covering SHE, Financials, Reporting, Leadership and People Development, Sales and Marketing, Market Position, Credit Management, Industrial Relations, and Operations Management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To deliver agreed sales and operational targets and business goals
  • To develop and maintain relationships with major clients
  • To provide inspirational leadership to a large and professional team

About You:

We are looking for a talented and energetic leader who is passionate about driving overall business performance with a growth agenda. You should have solid, practical skills and knowledge in developing the capability of teams.

An engineering and/or commercial qualification would be desirable, and a history of success in pivotal leadership positions, ideally within related heavy manufacturing sectors servicing the civil construction industry, would be highly regarded.

You should thrive on engendering solid business relationships and be level-headed and down to earth with exemplary standards of ethical conduct and professional judgment. A positive, resilient, curious, and goal-oriented nature would be complemented by your focus on coaching and developing others.
