About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Dandenong.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based therapeutic supports to clients in schools, homes, and the broader community.

Your caseload will involve managing client communication and/or swallowing level of function and capacity using clinical observations and standardised assessments.

You will also be required to interpret findings, formulate treatment goals unique to each client, and recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload and provide timely evidence-based therapeutic supports to clients
  • Deliver speech pathology services to clients in various settings, including schools, homes, and the community
  • Interpret assessment findings and formulate individualized treatment plans
  • Assess client communication and/or swallowing abilities and develop strategies to address any deficits
  • Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and support networks to achieve optimal outcomes

Requirements
  • Degree-qualified Speech Pathologist with current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Positive, can-do approach and mindset, with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
