Supplier Quality Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers' products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and conducting audits and assessments of supplier systems, processes, and products.
  • Documenting and reporting audit and assessment results.
  • Inspecting or verifying products for compliance with requirements.
  • Providing supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues, and company initiatives.
  • Resolving routine issues and concerns in the supplier Quality space.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Supplier Management.
  • Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations.
  • Knowledge of suppliers' capabilities to support Boeing production, including business systems, organisational structure, manufacturing processes, risk mitigation, capacity planning, past/present delivery performance, design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of drawing/data systems and configuration management principles and processes.
