Your Role:

We're looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to oversee supplier assurance and quality activities across our Australian Liquid Milk network. Based in Southbank, Melbourne, this role supports both our manufacturing site and our national supplier network—including packaging, 3PL, and 3PM relationships.

This is a supplier-focused, nationally visible role that involves leading performance monitoring, auditing, and improvement of key suppliers across VIC and interstate (including Sydney and Kyabram), with cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Your work will influence operational quality and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and improve the Vendor Assurance Program for all liquid milk suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and action plans
  • Lead supplier review meetings and stakeholder engagement on quality matters
  • Conduct quality trials related to fresh milk, packaging, and filling lines
  • Represent quality in supplier and site trials, customer complaints, and incident responses
  • Collaborate with NPD, Regulatory, Operations, and Marketing for new launches and onboarding
  • Support site activities as needed, focusing on the broader supplier landscape
  • Travel regularly (1–2 nights/month) for site visits and supplier meetings

About You

You should have experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, with deep expertise in supplier quality within fresh milk, food, or beverage categories.

Ideal skills and experience include:

  • 8–10+ years in Quality Management within food/FMCG
  • A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at both technical and commercial levels
  • Experience with quality trials, complaint resolution, and packaging quality management
  • A collaborative approach with clear communication and relationship-building skills
  • Practical knowledge of HACCP, audits, and GMP
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs
  • Must hold a current driver's license and be willing to travel across VIC and interstate
