Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with illnesses, disabilities, or injuries.
Your duties will include providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients, supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes. This may involve working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- You will be responsible for case management, applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes, and working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
- Additionally, you will work across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in Occupational Therapy, with full Professional AHPRA registration and previous experience working in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry.
In addition to your clinical skills, you will need to have excellent communication skills, compassion, and kindness. You will also need to have well-developed time management skills and a current QLD Driver's License with access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
