Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

  • Lead initiatives to improve the overall developer experience, core services, internal tools, CI, processes and communication
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including automated testing, CI, and DevOps
  • Maintain and improve our environments in AWS
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of microservices architecture, experience with AWS and DevOps practices focusing on scalable, reliable systems, and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases and query optimization.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams with mentoring skills
  • Backend development expertise (ideally Node.js, TypeScript)
  • Strong project management skills and ability to balance multiple initiatives
  • Excellent communication, able to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to high-quality solutions
