Aged Care Assistant

About the Role:
As a Home Care Worker with KinCare, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults in the Fairfield area. This part-time position requires a minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role, including personal care skills.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
- Offer social support and transportation to lifestyle activities, fostering connections and a sense of community.
- Deliver personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, with empathy and compassion.
- Provide respite and emotional support, acknowledging the importance of mental well-being.
- Transport customers to appointments, promoting access to essential services.
- Offer complex care for customers with high needs, such as dementia, requiring specialized skills and patience.

Requirements:
- 6 months or more of experience in a similar role, including personal care skills.
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
- Comfortable working independently, finding solutions to everyday problems, and seeking support when needed.
- Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
