About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Fairfield. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing domestic assistance, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, as well as assisting with medication management and mobility
  • Providing respite and emotional support
  • Social support and transport to appointments

Requirements

  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems

What to Expect

Before joining our team, we will be performing a National Police Check/Right to Work, functional fitness assessment on your behalf, as well as confirming evidence of COVID vaccination.
