About The Role

You will be based primarily at our Melbourne office, which is close to Southern Cross Station. Our flexible culture supports adjusted working hours and remote work arrangements with your manager's agreement.

As part of our Hardware team, you will design and develop power electronics systems aligned with our technology roadmap to help achieve our mission.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical layouts for BESS products, focusing on compliance and site installation compatibility.
  • Select equipment such as circuit breakers, automatic disconnect devices, CTs, and other electrical components used in these products.
  • Lead the development of required electrical solutions and collaborate with other design engineers on core BESS elements.
  • Contribute to the design and build of internal microgrids and test environments, including 3-phase loads and PV inputs.
  • Provide specialist engineering support in power electronics for battery management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work conducted.
