Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual and group Occupational Therapy needs, and develop and implement effective care plans to meet these needs.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Design and implement mobility programs tailored to the unique needs of our residents, promoting independence and quality of life.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to the development, implementation, review, and evaluation of Occupational Therapy care plans, ensuring seamless collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Communication and Leadership: Establish and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, and provide supervision and leadership to Therapy staff.
  • Resident Support: Support the maintenance or restoration of residents' independence, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in an aged care environment is highly desirable.
  • Health and Safety: Received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and have had, or are willing to obtain, influenza vaccination annually.
