Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing risk at the technical or system process level, delivered through the assessment of systems for compliance against defined security control frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft high-quality risk assessments and reports detailing security issues, technical and governance control improvements, and recommendations to address identified security risks.

This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of business and information risk context, as well as the ability to judge risk at a technical and business process level. The successful candidate will be able to clearly articulate both verbally and in writing to key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Assessment and Risk Management: The ability to assess risk at the technical or system process level, delivered through the assessment of systems for compliance against defined security control frameworks.
  • Risk Reporting: The ability to draft high-quality risk assessments and reports detailing security issues, technical and governance control improvements, and recommendations to address identified security risks.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to key stakeholders.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: A deep understanding of business and information risk context, as well as the ability to judge risk at a technical and business process level.
