Job Overview:

This key role involves taking operational responsibility for a client's Service Desk team, serving as the primary point of contact and technical lead for local systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serving as first point of contact and technical lead for local systems
  • Leading and operating the local IT service desk
  • Managing patching, migration, and decommissioning of services
  • Providing technical escalation support to business teams
  • Executing tactical upgrades (e.g., switch updates in our data center)

Requirements:

  • Deep experience supporting a team in a customer-focused services environment
  • A proven history within high-performing service desk teams
  • Extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall
  • Understanding of ITIL, ticketing systems, and customer service principles
  • Ability to deliver innovative solutions to Service Desk challenges
  • Experience working with an IT outsourcer or service provider
  • Experience with ConnectWise, LabTech, and/or Solarwinds Orion
