About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Officer to join our Finance team. In this role, you will leverage your skills in account management to oversee invoicing, claims processing, and account reconciliation. You will be responsible for managing key client accounts, following up on overdue invoices, and resolving outstanding claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and settle claims related to overpricing, returns, and short deliveries.
- Follow up on overdue invoices by sending reminders and proof of delivery to customers.
- Contact customer stores and Head Offices for payment updates and claim rejections.
- Predict end-of-month (EOM) collection values and report daily cash position updates to the Manager.
- Maintain accurate account files and records for ease of retrieval.
- Ensure compliance with company Quality Control, Confidentiality, and Intellectual Property policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Intermediate or advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, are desirable.
- The ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
