Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Psychiatry Resident Medical Officer to fill a dynamic role in Victoria, Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health conditions through comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored care plans that address diverse patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and comprehensive support for individuals and their families.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality while adhering to relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of completion of medical studies or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a registered medical practitioner.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification demonstrating proficiency in emergency response and patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
