Step into the dynamic world of energy trading, where you can make a real impact without prior experience.

We're looking for a motivated and analytical professional to join our Physical Markets team in renewable energy.

Our growing generation portfolio includes five wind farms producing 600MW, with exciting new additions on the horizon – including the MacIntyre Wind Farm (923MW), set to be the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, and the Aldoga Solar Farm (380MW).

About the Role

You'll support real-time market operations and performance optimisation across our renewable energy portfolio. You'll work closely with teams in Australia and Spain, gaining hands-on experience in the National Electricity Market (NEM), bidding strategies, and market analysis.

  • Assist with daily spot market activities and market desk coverage
  • Monitor market conditions and report insights to senior management
  • Collaborate with operations, control room, and site teams
  • Participate in a rotating roster (including weekends and varied shifts)
  • Ensure compliance with market rules and protocols
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Exposure to the National Electricity Market particularly in wholesale markets or tangentially related fields (e.g. risk, settlements etc.). No prior trading experience required.
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, finance, science, or engineering fields.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
