About the Role

Milestone IT is seeking a highly motivated Operations & Service Chapter Lead to oversee all aspects of our store and online operations, services, incidents, and releases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a Dedicated Support Team

As a key member of our IT team, you will lead a dedicated support team, providing day-to-day coaching and guidance to ensure they are equipped to handle the demands of our fast-paced environment.

Drive Continuous Improvement

You will drive continuous improvement through process optimization and automation initiatives, ensuring our operations are efficient and effective.

Champion Operational Excellence

As a champion of operational excellence, you will prioritize work, mitigate risks, and foster strong communication across IT teams to ensure seamless collaboration.

Own Critical Incidents

You will own critical incidents, coordinating resolution and communication with all involved stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution.

Implement New Tools

You will identify and implement new tools to ensure faster and more effective problem-solving, driving innovation and improvement in our operations.

Foster a Positive Team Environment

You will foster a positive and growth-oriented environment for your team, providing coaching and mentorship to ensure they are equipped to succeed.

Requirements
  • Strong Background in IT Operations and Service Management

You will possess a strong background in IT operations and service management, with a proven track record of success in motivating and developing teams.

Proven Leadership Experience

You will have proven leadership experience, with a track record of success in motivating and developing teams.

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.

Proactive and Results-Oriented Approach

You will have a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Experience in Implementing Automation Strategies

You will have experience in implementing automation strategies and utilizing relevant tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Understanding of Network Infrastructure and Standard Internet Protocols

You will possess an understanding of network infrastructure and standard internet protocols.

Understanding of Microsoft Windows Products

You will have an understanding of Microsoft Windows products, including Active Directory domains and Group Policy.

Scripting Experience

You will possess scripting experience using Batch and PowerShell.

Windows Desktop Software Practical Knowledge

You will have practical knowledge of Windows desktop software.

Payments Experience (Desirable)
