About the Role

We are currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our Sydney Office. As a key member of our team, you will assist Senior Property Managers and Property Managers in delivering quality property management services across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including handling vendor/contractor queries.
  • Monitor critical dates, such as lease expiries, bank guarantees, and insurances.
  • Undertake lease setups, lease audits, assist with rent reviews (fixed & CPI), raise sundry charges, manage & update tenant information, and setup real estate deposits & releases.
  • Issue purchase orders and set up contracts in MRI, review and assist in the management of Purchase Orders and Work Orders along with the workflow.
  • Assist Property Managers with monthly reporting, annual Budgets, and Outgoings reconciliations.
  • Assist and liaise with the Operations Manager, contractors, tenants, and Owners as required.
  • General Administration, filing, and other office administrative and property-related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Passion and enthusiasm about Property and Real Estate and delivery quality services to clients and stakeholders is essential.
  • Strong Word and Excel skills.
  • Good Communication – Written and Verbal.
  • Property accounting and/or lease administration knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Understanding of MRI or other similar Property Management system would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Property-related degrees or qualifications are desirable.
  • NSW Fair Trading Certificate of Registration is essential.
  • Practical hands-on experience working in a property or Real Estate related environment is desirable.
