About the Role

The Business Support Officer will provide administrative support to the Finance Department at Cairns Private Hospital. This is a permanent part-time opportunity with flexible hours, offering a great range of employee benefits and opportunities for career growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to the commercial functions of the administrative and clinical teams.
  • Oversee patient invoicing and receipting, accounts payable processes, accounts receivable processes, banking and cash processing, and general and subsidiary ledger clearing and reconciliation.
  • Assist with end of month reporting and other financial tasks as required.
Requirements
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Suite programs, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in finance administration is desirable.
  • Experience with SAP Accounting package is advantageous.
  • Meditech Patient Management System experience is desirable.
  • Experience with Blue Chip Accounting package is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet reporting deadlines.
