About the Role

The Export Airfreight Operations Team Leader will lead a team of 4, responsible for all operations on a national profile. This is a hands-on role, leading from the front with the support of the Airfreight product leads. The successful candidate will work on CW1, leading and mentoring a great team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of passionate Airfreight staff across multiple locations
  • Hands-on role, actively handling files nationally
  • Ensure airline, terminal, and transport supplier relationships are strong
  • Assist with costing and quoting potential opportunities
  • Responsible for the department invoicing accuracy, including WIPS/Accruals
  • Ensure all airfreight compliance is followed and maintained
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in Export Airfreight Operations
  • Experience in training, leading, and/or mentoring Export Operations
  • Hold valid Dangerous Goods, Cargo Acceptance/Screening, and Aviation Security licenses
  • Demonstrated experience handling end-of-month finance close out
  • Strong experience using CW1, exposure to PAVE an advantage
