ICT Vendor and Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced ICT vendor and contract manager to lead our organisation's strategic sourcing initiatives, drive procurement best practices, and build strong relationships with suppliers.

The Position

  • Develop and execute vendor and contract management strategies across the organisation, delivering value and alignment with business objectives.
  • Influence key stakeholders to improve procurement practices and compliance, promoting sustainable procurement practices in line with Modern Slavery and Reconciliation Action Plan objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including pre-contract planning and post-award contract management, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead key negotiations with suppliers, securing optimal contracts and pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Support continuous improvement in contract and supplier performance management frameworks, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Work cross-functionally to assess business needs and assist in the evaluation and procurement of tech solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in ICT procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in enterprise licensing, SaaS, and cloud-first technologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and non-technical groups.
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, ICT or related discipline; postgraduate and/or MCIPS highly desirable.
  • Exposure to health or not-for-profit sectors will be viewed favorably.
