National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is seeking experienced teaching artists to join our team at NIDA Open. As a teaching artist, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for the performing arts with students of all ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in a variety of performing arts disciplines
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and styles
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them achieve their artistic goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver curriculum that aligns with NIDA's education programs
- Contribute to the development of NIDA Open's education programs and initiatives
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a performing arts discipline
- Proven teaching experience in a performing arts setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
