We are seeking a seasoned Underwriter to join our team in driving business growth and profitability. As an Underwriter, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with insurance brokers to negotiate pricing, coverages and other terms.
Job Description:Maintain profitability by selecting appropriate risk profiles, analyzing accounts, and servicing renewals throughout the year while upholding our customer service standards. Collaborate with the Business Development team to support their goals and strengthen partnerships with brokers.
- Identify areas where our unique capabilities provide us with a competitive advantage and build processes that support these
- Actively participate in determining our approach to emerging threats, loss trends, marketplace changes and other trends in cyber risks
To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and minimum 4+ years of underwriting experience. You should also possess technical expertise and product knowledge in Commercial Insurance and demonstrate ability to build a profitable book of cyber business.
