The OSHC Service Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging daily activities that cater to children's needs and provide educational value.
- Supervise and support children during after-school care, holiday care, and other programs.
- Prepare and serve healthy food options to meet children's dietary requirements.
- Create a nurturing environment that promotes happiness and well-being among children.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.
- A warm and engaging personality.
- Strong focus on child safety and understanding of mandatory reporting procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care (or studying towards) or equivalent.
- Working with Children Check (willingness to obtain).
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willingness to obtain).
- Child Protection Training Certificate.
