We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our healthcare team as a medical receptionist.

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity for those looking for flexible hours, close to home or part-time work. As a medical receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction:
  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous way.
  • Scheduling and Administration:
  • Book, schedule and follow up appointments with patients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including ordering stationery and toiletries as needed.
  • Financial Management:
  • Process Medicare billings and perform day-to-day banking tasks.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A knowledge of Best Practice Software is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in a General Practice setting is also preferred but not essential.
  • Personal Requirements:
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination evidence.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Certifications and Clearances:
  • CPR Certificate is essential (can be obtained if not already held).
  • National Valid Police Clearance (can be obtained if not already held).
  • Logistics:
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Warwick, WA.
