Job Overview

This critical role is essential to maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure and services. The Cloud Operations Specialist will provide ongoing support for the Department's Azure environment, ensuring prompt resolution of service requests and incidents.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in the Department's Azure environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and respond to alerts from Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other observability tools.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
  • Maintain robust backup and disaster recovery configurations within Azure for critical workloads.
  • Facilitate seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure through hybrid connectivity solutions (e.g., Azure ExpressRoute, VPN, AD Connect).

Eligibility & Requirements:
  • Must hold minimum Baseline Clearance.
  • Prior experience as a Cloud Support Specialist or Azure Cloud Support Officer is beneficial.
