About Discover Nursing Australia:

We are a service provider that aims to recruit compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers who assist individuals with disabilities to live a dignified life. Our goal is to tailor our support to each participant's needs, promoting independence and encouraging them to achieve their goals.

We offer a unique opportunity for Disability Support Workers to join our team on a contractual basis, giving them more control over their role and work schedule. This means you will be a sole trader, with the freedom to choose your hours and days of work.

• The ability to provide the type of service you want to participants, such as domestic care, personal care, community access, etc.

Additionally, we provide:

• Professional indemnity, public liability, and worker's compensation insurance
• An on-call / online customer service team (based in Sydney and comprised of qualified Registered Nurses) who can act as your mentor and provide support
• Opportunities for career advancement and business ownership

Job Details:

We regularly receive new roles with various shifts, including afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays. We also may have roles that require transporting participants to access the community, for which you will receive a transport allowance.

Becoming a Disability Support Worker with us:

We require you to have an ABN, proof of Right to Work, relevant Australian qualifications, current Police Clearance, First Aid, and CPR Certificate. You will also need to complete the Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You'.
