Café Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused leader to help drive operations at our café. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about high-quality food, hospitality, and a hands-on approach to café management.
As the Senior Supervisor / Team Leader, you will be a key support member to the leadership team, ensuring daily operations are seamless and the team is confident, engaged, and performing at their best.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting day-to-day café operations on afternoon (midday through to evenings) and weekend shifts
- Leading the team and ensuring work is delivered to brand and standards
- Overseeing rostering, team coordination, and stock/order management
- Maintaining compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures
- Responding to customer feedback and service issues with care and professionalism
- Assisting with onboarding, team training, and performance development
- Monitoring KPIs related to customer satisfaction, cost control, and team performance
You will bring:
- 3–5 years' experience in hospitality or food service
- Previous experience leading small teams
- Familiarity with hospitality POS systems or similar
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on, can-do approach and ability to lead by example
