Job Title: Information Management Lead

This is a senior role within our information management team, responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the effective management of technical information across the business.

  • Develop and implement a Technical Information Management (TIM) strategy and architecture that incorporates systems, interfaces, processes, policies, procedures, and protocols for information management.
  • Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for information management and analysis, with attention to all technical aspects.
  • Establish a single source of truth for technical information within PDM, ERP, and DMS systems, avoiding data duplication.
  • Monitor and analyze information and data systems, evaluating their performance to discover ways of enhancing them, including new technologies, upgrades, best practices, automation, and digitalization.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues related to technical information.
  • Identify best possible ways to provide technical information input into mandated system review packages.
  • Work with project teams to understand business needs and ensure the best possible information management frameworks are utilized to aid compliance and consistency.
  • Implement robust configuration management controls to technical information.
  • Maintain a master data map for engineering systems.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in managing data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, and distribution).
  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies.
  • Experience in specifying, testing, and rolling out information management interfaces.
  • Experience with document and configuration management and release processes.
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of information management domain.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong decision-making capability, along with ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, proven organizational skills, and ability to balance priorities.
  • Ability to drive, influence, and implement changing work practices and behaviors with demonstrable passion for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Have attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Be an Australian citizen and have held or the ability to hold a security clearance in Australia.
