Paediatric Speech Pathologist

Yooralla is seeking a passionate and experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team in Sunshine or Newport. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to children with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support, resources, and information to families as part of the key worker model, meeting their individual needs in various settings.
- Use a family-centered approach, drawing on the skills of the larger team to develop goals and strategies with families to support their identified priorities.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists.
- Provide indirect client service and family coordination to support client goals.
- Manage your own caseload and appointments.
- Drive to homes and community settings within a 30-minute radius.
- Flexible working schedule and environment, including home, office, and community settings.
We are looking for an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with families using a family-centered, key worker approach. You will have experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model, the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families, and a focus on developing clinical skills in areas you're not familiar with.
