Responsibilities:
Job SummaryAs a Graduate Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment and implementing custom therapy programs for your clients.
You will work under the supervision of experienced speech pathologists and will rely on your continual learning and expertise in delivering therapy to clients while enhancing clinical skills and delivering on clinical targets for the practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide communication consultation and oversight of programs, to both therapist team and to clients while under supervision of senior speech pathologists
- Be open to learning and enhancing learning capabilities through administering varied case load
- Provide therapy to clients within the program models
- Provide direct speech and language therapy, train and support clients to run goals and interventions
- Administer speech and language assessments, develop and implement therapy plans for any speech and language referrals
- Monitor, evaluate and review progress and therapy plans
- Undertake appropriate training and development, including self-reflection
- Work collaboratively within teams to provide holistic therapy programs
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate a commitment to meeting client and organisational expectations
- Adopt and embrace company values and philosophy
- Ensure the environment is kept in a safe and hygienic state at all times
- Commitment to work as an effective team member
- Promote the company and its interests to the local and wider community
- Ensure all communication is completed in a professional and polite manner, to all internal and external stakeholders
