We are a multidisciplinary allied health clinic providing speech therapy, occupational therapy, play therapy, and psychology services to support and empower our clients through skilled, bilingual and family-centred therapy services.
We predominately serve paediatric clients, but also provide services to teenagers and adults in the community, depending on their needs.
Our mission is to provide holistic therapy programs that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.
About the RoleThe Speech Pathologist will be responsible for delivering efficient, evidence-based clinical services to a caseload of clients who are funded by the NDIS, Medicare and other private operators.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be required to work autonomously and at a self-directed pace to achieve clinical targets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct paediatric assessments and develop individualised therapy plans
- Liaise with parents or caregivers to establish child and family-centred goals
- Deliver therapy sessions to support children to achieve their goals
- Develop resources for therapy and home programs
- Liaise with other professionals involved in the child's care
- Manage client-related responsibilities and administrative duties
- Provide speech and language consultation and oversight of programs
- Conduct termly speech and language screeners within the local community
- Monitor, evaluate and review progress and therapy plans
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Current Drivers' Licence
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Positive energy and a love for working with children
- Passionate about bilingualism and cultural diversity
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the NDIS
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record in creating efficiency and meeting targets
