Job Title: Indigenous Student Advancement Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Indigenous Student Advancement Officer. This role will combine your passion for indigenous higher education with your desire to support student success and retention activities.

This is a key position within a collaborative team environment, where you will work closely with students, academic staff, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality advice and exceptional service.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask, set priorities, and work to meet competing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing proactive advice and support to students in relation to their programs and courses
  • Being the primary point of contact for Indigenous students
  • Case management of student personal and academic needs
  • Identifying student academic gaps and facilitating tutorial support
  • Monitoring student progress and identifying opportunities for Work Integrated Learning
