Food Scientist

Enhancing laboratory capabilities requires a skilled individual to contribute to the success of our allergen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing samples for instrumental analysis and operating analytical instrumentation.
About the Role- Key Responsibilities:
- Loading, running and processing data from analytical instruments.
- Preparing solutions, standards and quality control material in line with NATA and ISO 17025 regulations.
- Managing workload to meet laboratory turnaround times.
- Conducting allergen analysis based on ELISA methodology.
- Controlling stock levels and maintaining Kanban systems.
- You will have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A willingness to adapt and manage workflow to ensure client expectations are met.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Previous technical experience in a food laboratory is highly desirable but not essential.
- Initiative and a proactive attitude are required.
- Possess a passion for innovation and resourcefulness.
