Westmead BTCT Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist to lead the national and internationally accredited Cellular Therapy laboratory that performs graft manipulations and cryopreservation of bone marrow, blood stem cells, cord blood, and other cellular therapies.

- Optimize laboratory operations to deliver efficient and effective service, encompassing operational management, compliance, financial planning and reporting, performance monitoring, risk management, human resources, and strategic planning.
- Pursue tertiary qualifications of at least a Bachelor Degree in Science / Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent recognized qualification relevant to Medical Laboratory Science or relevant specialty.
- Demonstrate proven leadership and operational management skills, including budget management, staff and resource management, and maintaining professional standards and accreditation within organizational frameworks.
