Job Summary

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) seeks a visionary Executive Director - Aboriginal Health to provide strategic leadership and advice on Aboriginal health issues. This role will drive improved health outcomes for Aboriginal communities through effective and culturally acceptable services.

About the Role

As a member of the Executive Team, the Executive Director - Aboriginal Health will provide leadership, education, and advice across the LHN on matters impacting Aboriginal outcomes. This includes ensuring clinical services receive the necessary support and direction to deliver culturally safe services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

  • Engage stakeholder groups and facilitate change
  • Drive improved health outcomes for the community

Requirements

The appointee will demonstrate sound strategic leadership experience in the public, community, or private sectors, with a focus on improving quality of life for the indigenous community. An inclusive and engaging style, extensive understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health issues, and experience in managing complex multi-disciplinary settings are essential.
