Job Opportunity: FP&A Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially astute individual to partner with our senior executives and drive strategic decision-making during a major enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation and business improvement journey. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and commercial finance within a service-based or multi-site business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive FP&A and commercial finance activities during the transformation process.
  • Partner with divisional leaders across multiple divisions to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Consolidate and standardise reporting across various locations.
  • Develop financial models in Excel and create insightful data visualisations using Power BI.
  • Analyse productivity, efficiency, and recovery rates to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Load results into a group reporting system.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation processes.
  • Contribute to leadership discussions and transformation strategy as second-in-command to the Head of FP&A.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in FP&A and commercial finance within a service-based or multi-site business.
  • Advanced financial modelling and Excel capability.
  • Strong Power BI skills, able to build and standardise reports from the ground up.
  • Exposure to ERP transformation or major systems change.
  • The ability to partner with senior stakeholders and challenge the status quo with confidence.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret operational performance metrics and profit/loss drivers.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation across multiple divisions.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the adaptability to shape a role in a changing environment.
