Supply Chain Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in identifying and realizing opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management leadership across supply chain projects to deliver end-to-end improvements.
  • Act as second in charge and provide short-term cover for supply chain managers.
  • Participate in the supply chain improvement committee across business units.
  • Deliver initiatives aligned to and supporting the execution of business unit strategies.
  • Lead cost of goods reduction strategy for supply chain within business units.
  • Identify development opportunities for supply chain team members and support their technical development.
  • Support the management of working capital across business units.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning within a retail or FMCG environment.
  • A relevant tertiary degree or other related qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience with lean/Six Sigma methodology.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and cost drivers.
  • Proven understanding of retail replenishment systems and factors affecting store availability.
  • Developed data analysis and insight generation skills, with advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated project delivery experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across a broad set of stakeholders.
