Job Description:This internship involves implementing the company's supply chain and logistics strategy, optimizing production chains, and managing inventory and stock for the production line. This opportunity allows you to start your career in supply chain management by gaining on-site experience with inventory management, sourcing, vendor engagement, and product evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in developing a supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with senior engineers to manage planning of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics, and distribution to avoid delays and overheads
- Conduct risk assessments for all suppliers and products, ensuring alternate supply channels are in place
- Review and evaluate inventory regularly, liaising with vendors and supply partners
- Negotiating and liaison skills
- Experience with inventory management, sourcing, and vendor engagement
- Knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics
- On-site experience with radio management and MCU application
- Mapping supply chains to identify opportunities and reduce supply disruption
- Networking opportunities across industries and with vendors
